![]() But basically, Undyne the Undying and Asriel have the highest listed stats due to their high levels of Determination. It’s implied that Determination = SOUL power, which I outlined here in more detail. Therefore, if a being with a powerful SOUL struck with the desire to kill…” If a monster doesn’t want to fight, its defenses will weaken.Īnd the crueller the intentions of our enemies, the more their attacks will hurt us. “Because they are made of magic, monsters’ bodies are attuned to their SOUL. Toriel never intended to kill you ( ), and Asgore doesn’t believe himself worthy of mercy. The reason they don’t do much damage to you is because a monster’s SOUL power is linked to their will to fight, and neither wants to kill you. Boss Monsters are stated to be the strongest monsters in the game, which is why Asgore and Toriel have some of the highest stats at 80 ATK, 80 DEF. Stats are integrated into the game’s lore. Also, Asriel had a human soul and apparently that didn’t help his defense either since he still died. Sans has the strongest magic out of anyone so wouldn’t his atk be way greater than that? I haven’t seen Papyrus’s stats but isn’t his more than 1 atk? If so, I question the validity of monster stats. Toriel and Asgore have the same atk and def yet have completely different builds and Toriel just dies while Asgore doesn’t when you strike one down. ![]() Asriel has infinite power and defense so theoretically speaking, we should die in one hit but clearly that didn’t happen unless Frisk’s defense is also infinite which…is probably not too far from the truth since Frisk can’t die. I never use stats to form or support theories because of how insanely paradoxical they are. The souls stayed the same status as when they were absorbed.Īlso, monster stats are the weirdest of weird. ![]() It’s probably the same reason why the amalgamates souls didn’t split up when Asriel release them. I don’t think it has been shown that a monster soul changes color when it takes a human soul. The human soul could have been inside of San’s soul at the time Asriel released all the souls. In conclusion, I can only guess that other humans came down too prior to the first fallen child. Also people would think the legend would be nonsense if people actually came back after climbing Mt. Ebott if other people haven’t fallen down. Otherwise, the legend wouldn’t exist because no one would have noticed that people disappear in Mt. The only rational explanation I can think of is that there were other humans that have fallen prior to Chara. Ebott was the entrance to the underground else they’d either blow it up or block it to keep other people from meeting the same fate. I just can’t see the humans knowing that Mt. ![]() If the legend didn’t happen because of Chara, the first fallen child (and possibly a few others after her), then, how did it form?! Were their other humans that fallen prior to Chara’s coming? Ebott and the year and says “Legends say that those who climb the mountain never return.” Then, it shows Chara falling… but that in itself throws a massive question at me.
